Recent work

Jane's latest series of work is about the joy and excitement of connecting with the natural environment within an urban setting, in search of a bit of magic. Her inspiration comes from encountering the Wandle in daily life at almost every turn - living near it, tending an allotment on its banks, cycling from its source in Croydon to the Thames. These monoprints and monotypes on paper start life as cyanotypes, which she then develops from the original blue through toning with botanicals, hand painting and relief printing.
